OUR GARDEN IS GROWING

Our new Community Garden is currently under construction! We are using land adjacent to our current site to bring Dorrigo a beautiful shared space for the community to enjoy. Closer to completion we will be releasing information on how to access this amazing resource. Come down to the nursery and watch it evolve! Or better yet, come and get your hands dirty every Wednesday and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, from 9am until 12pm.

July 2024 News

A grant from Council's Environmental Levy Community Fund has financed the building of six new raised garden beds.

Three of the beds are low enough so people can work them while seated, either in a wheelchair or a garden chair. They also are capped with sturdy timbers that can bear the weight of people who may choose to sit on them. The taller beds are designed to be accessible to people standing who may be unable to bend to work in our regular garden beds. The space between the beds has been designed to be wide enough to allow wheelchairs, wheelbarrows, and people with mobility aids to pass each other.
